The lake and his surroundings develop for experts to a preferential recreation area. With its situation in clean nature and the cristal clear water is the lake one of the nicest of Chile. His big advantage is the nearness to the capital of Santiago. Therefore every investment is resistant to value and increasing.
Are only 3.5 hours drive on new two-lane runway up to the properties. Nearby there are the nationally known thermal baths Quinamávida and Panimávida. The Colbun with its 57 km2 is the biggest reservoir of Chile. It is also described as the biggest swimming-pool of the country under free sky. This is explained with the water temperature in summer of 23 C, envy of the beaches at the coast which are touched by the cold Humboldt stream, as well of the lakes further to the south. |

On 440 m about the sea level the Colbun has own bright color and special atmospheric conditions in the zone. One can experience that it is thick fog and rain in the place Colbun 12 km away from the lake and the lake is in bright sun and everybody is easily dressed. This microclimate permits the cultivation of all possible kinds of fruits. So one sees in the gardens apple, pears, cherries, apricots, kaki-, walnut- and avocado trees. Also wine can be planted. |

Every plot has 5000 m² and accordingly a dimension of 50 x 100 m. One narrow side of 50 m forms the lake shore. A slope of 35 degrees exists down to the lake of about 35% of every property. (important with a reservoir, which can have different water level) The rest is nearly horizontal. From all properties there is a wonderful view of the high mountains, mostly with snow, and a marvelous wide look over the lake. |

From the main public road leads an about 250 m long private way to the plots with a good spatial separation originates to possible public traffic. The private way crosses agricultural area that is not used since decades any more and was won back again by the nature. It shows a nice example of the quite natural vegetation.
